Emergency Response:
Emergency Response is primarily about people – their safety, their
emotional well-being, and their behavior under pressure. Part of this
response is to determine the extent of the potential impact and the type of
management involvement that is appropriate under the circumstances. It
is distinct from a Disaster Recovery Plan in that the latter is a plan to
move functionality to an alternative site. Emergency Response is the immediate response
to a severe incident.
