President
Chief Executive Officer

A pioneer, strategist and senior executive in the Business Continuity Services field for over 20 years, Mr. Nolan's broad base of knowledge of business processes, information technology, risk management and organizational logistics provides important depth and scope to the Eagle Rock portfolio of capabilities. His career accomplishments trace the industry's evolution from disaster recovery for batch mainframe systems through to comprehensive real-time business continuity service programs for complex, distributed global architectures. He has been a member of the executive committee of the Contingency Planning Exchange in New York and a featured lecturer on topics of Business Contingency Strategies. Mr. Nolan's expertise in Contingency Planning Service, Sales and Business Management has earned him distinction as one of the industry's most prominent executives of the past two decades.

At Eagle Rock, Mr. Nolan leads the effort to build upon the company's established primary business areas of Risk Management, Business Continuity Planning and related Technology Consulting. In 1998, Mr. Nolan formed Eagle Rock by merging the established business continuity and disaster practice areas of two New York firms, Livingston Consulting Group, a technology and business planning consulting firm where Mr. Nolan served as its Director of Sales and Business since 1996, and Contingency Planning Research, Inc. (CPR), a leading business continuity planning and research firm established in 1988.

In 1999 and 2000, Mr. Nolan and his staff developed scenario-based, video-driven emergency response and crisis management table top exercise programs to meet the need for more robust and realistic enterprise-wide awareness training and BCP and IT/DR plan testing. Post 9/11, he enhanced the service offerings in the area of critical information management, established Eagle Rock's Technology Solutions Group (TSG) and named Thomas E. Martin as TSG Managing Director. In 2003, Mr. Nolan broadened the scope of Eagle Rock's business practice areas to embrace the growing recognition among business and government leaders that Enterprise and Operational Resilience are the primary goals of continuity strategies.

Mr. Nolan had served previously for Comdisco Availability Services (now SunGard Availability Services) as Senior Vice President for the Mid-Atlantic region. His success in this marketplace from 1983 to 1996 led to the establishment of Comdisco's largest Recovery Centers capable of supporting the mission critical functions of the nation's largest companies. He helped guide the development of Comdisco's East Coast sites, as well as the upgrade and expansion of the NJ recovery facilities. During this time, Mr. Nolan had district management responsibility for sales, marketing and product planning input. Starting in 1983 as its first Mid-Atlantic Sales Executive, Mr. Nolan developed many of the first client strategies and vendor service offerings in the country for disaster recovery.

From 1978 to 1983, Mr. Nolan served as an engineering sales manager with a specialty equipment manufacturing firm. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Civil Engineering at Cornell University.
