Mr. Mahecha is Practice Director of Eagle Rock Alliance Business Continuity Group. He has a strong track record of more than 25 years of diverse management and consulting experience in Operational Risk and Business Continuity Management, Business Process Management, Information Technology Management, Systems Development and Strategy development (IT and Enterprise) for mid-sized, large and global organizations.

Mr. Mahecha has actively managed, designed and implemented all aspects of business continuity programs for his clients, which include some of the most notable firms in technology, publishing, banking, insurance and professional services organizations, among others. His portfolio includes business analysis and strategies to facilitate risk and impact mitigation, business resumption, emergency response, incident and crisis management, communication strategies, plan testing and maintenance programs. His efforts also include expansion of BCM programs to address pandemic preparedness and the establishment of BCM programs at private banks and trading companies that required coordination of activities across platforms.

Mr. Mahecha combines his strategic background in Information Technology with focused experience developing business, technology and recovery/resiliency strategies. His qualifications range from understanding the requirements and implications of new business models, to developing effective frameworks for the implementations of the required solutions.

Prior to 2005, Mr. Mahecha acquired extensive domestic and international experience with diverse organizations like Exxon International, Schering-Plough, Philip Morris, FCB Communications, and A&E Networks. Argee served in senior executive positions such as CIO, Vice President and Sr. Director of Information Technology. Mr. Mahecha also has extensive management consulting experience (Sr. Consultant, Principal and Managing Director) with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). His previous extensive international experience was mostly in Europe and South America.

Mr. Mahecha holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management from the University of Hartford (CT) and a BS degree in Quantitative Economics and International Marketing from Upsala College (NJ). He also earned an MBA in Finance and Management from Farleigh Dickinson University.
