BSI Accepts Eagle Rock into BS 25999 Associate Consultancy Program

WEST ORANGE, NJ – May 2, 2008 - Eagle Rock Alliance, Ltd. (“Eagle Rock”) announced today that BSI Management Systems has accepted Eagle Rock to its Associate Consultancy Program (“ACP”). The ACP is designed to acknowledge consultancies that are proficient in the BS 25999 Standard for Business Continuity Management Systems and qualified to help organizations meet those rigorous standards within their individual enterprises.

BS 25999 is an international standard that is becoming increasingly popular in the US for measuring corporate resiliency. It was compiled by the British Standards Institute (BSI) with the help of several dozen industry organizations and provides a framework for Business Continuity Programs to be audited and certified. Stakeholders and clients of a BS 25999 Certified Organization can be assured that the organization meets the BSI requirements for an effective Business Continuity Management System (BCMS).

Thomas Martin, Eagle Rock Managing Director of Consulting Services, stated, "BSI lists organizations with only the best business continuity planning resources and who successfully align their practice areas with the BS 25999 standard. Eagle Rock is an experienced consultancy that has developed extensive best practice capabilities for clients and is well positioned to be a valuable BSI ACP partner and a high quality provider of pre-certification services."

"We are pleased to be part of the BSI Associate Consultancy Program for BS 25999, as we continue to build on our 10 years of commitment to BCM best practices and standards,” said Gerry Nolan , Eagle Rock President and CEO.

Eagle Rock recognizes the BS 25999 standard as a significant approach in the advancement of industry best practices. As such, Eagle Rock has aligned relevant portions of its ERA*360 Enterprise Resiliency Assessment model, first published in 2004 and the foundation for the firm's Roadmap for Resiliency service, to produce BS 25999 graphical views to measure corporate compliance with this standard. This feature readily allows Eagle Rock to produce a well-tuned gap analysis against the BS 25999 standard, complete with an action plan for what is required to comply with the standard and to prepare the organization for the certification process. Eagle Rock has named its service Roadmap for BS 25999 Compliance . Information on this service can be found on the company's website.
